Overview
CPR for Professionals is a locally produced course designed to teach CPR and choking skills for victims of all ages, including ventilation with barrier devices, pocket masks, bag-valve-mask devices with supplemental oxygen, and the use of Automated External Defibrillators, to all healthcare providers in both hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
A CPR for Professionals student manual is provided to each participant for review before, during and after the course. To successfully complete the course, participants will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in CPR and AED use and to obtain a score of at least 84% on the final written evaluation.
