Assessment: Practical skills assessments & written test

Certification: Qualsafe certificate (typically valid for 3 years)

Accreditation: Qualsafe RQF Level 3

What you’ll learn

Scene safety and management; dynamic risk assessment

Primary and secondary survey; vital signs

Airway management; oxygen therapy

Breathing and circulation; shock; catastrophic bleeding control

CPR and AED use

Medical emergencies: cardiac, respiratory, diabetic, seizures, anaphylaxis

Trauma: head, spinal, fractures, burns; wound care

Patient packaging, moving and handling

Communication, handover (ATMIST), and documentation

No prior qualification is required. We start with fundamentals and build up through guided practice.
